It is connected to major parts of the city via BMTC (Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation) buses. The locality’s connectivity is all set to improve further through Namma Metro’s Phase II. The Bangalore City Railway Station is 24 km away from here. The Heelalige Railway Station and Carmelaram Railway Station are situated at 5.8 and 11.8 km away from here respectively. Other arterial junctions like the Silk Board Junction in Madiwala (9 km), NICE Road and Bannerghatta Road help improve access to ECity. Although the Bangalore International Airport is about 52 km away, BMTC offers bus services that ferry individuals to the airport at regular intervals. Namma Metro’s Line 3 running between RV Road and Bommasandra will have two stations in Electronic City. The line under the proposed Phase II of the metro project will be operational by 2019 and the metro connectivity will help boost property prices in ECity.
